Enhancing your devices
Over time my clients sometimes say they wish they had bought a Mac with a larger hard disk. After 3 years of taking photos, they have run out of space and find that their Mac is now running slower.
For some Macs it is possible to replace the hard disk with a larger capacity. Even some of the later models have super large replacements available. After a discussion about any Apple warranty implications we can upgrade your hard disk.
Sometimes a conversation about upgrading leads to one about replacing. We can help by not only giving you advice on the right model to meet your needs, in some cases we will offer to buy your old Mac to help you offset the cost of your new replacement.
Other upgrades include one of my clients who uses an Apple Thunderbolt Display and is delighted at how this has turned his laptop into the equivalent of a full desktop system. The new Apple Displays are just coming out and make a great addition for heavy work users.
Other upgrades which have made a huge difference to clients include large data storage pods (NAS or RAID arrays) which have been used for movies, music, photos as well as business documents.
