A common problem we solve
Most of us have several devices, our Mac, iPhone, iPad and would like emails received on one also to appear on the others. And if an email is answered or deleted on one of them, the change is mirrored on all the other devices too.
Although it appears simple in principle, in practice there can be a number of obstacles to overcome to make this work properly.
Our step-by-step process will identify the cause of the email problem quickly and lead to a solution. Usually this involves configuring email accounts on all your devices to match a standard. Sometimes we need to amend the settings on you email service which means we will need to speak to your service provider on your behalf. We know what we’re doing and can make this easy for you. Indeed we ourselves provide email hosting services so know both sides of the coin.
We are also very conscious of the growing problems of hacking, phishing, spam and identify theft and can give you advice to minimise your risk.
Your safety
- Never click a link in an email to go to your bank or other service where your credit may be stored. Always use your own link (from your favourites) or Google the organisation.
- Use different passwords for all websites – use a password manager – never write down your passwords on your Mac
- Never click on an email attachment unless you recognise who has sent it and you expect it to be there
- If in doubt, ask (WHO######)
For greater security
